This camper has been professionally winterized – so you
don’t have to worry about any frozen pipes this winter! But just because we
winterized it, doesn’t mean you have to stop camping – the furnace will still
keep you warm. The fridge and cooking appliances still work. You can still
sleep in it. Just bring bottled water to drink, and remember not to use the
sinks, shower, or toilet – but most campgrounds have nice bath houses now,
anyway (and this time of year, I’m sure you can get a PRIME spot close to the
showers). So grab your gear, load up your coat (don’t forget your skis and
your snowboard!), and GO CAMPING!!

One word – LIGHTWEIGHT.

This is a fifth wheel
bunkhouse that weighs less than 8500 lbs fully loaded. You can EASILY tow
this one with a fullsize half-ton pickup! If you’ve been thinking about getting
a fifth wheel, but didn’t want to have to get a ¾ or one-ton pickup…here’s
your chance!!

This
camper is in great shape, and has a really nice layout. The slideout is
super-deep and takes the dinette and sofa completely out of the way; the
bunks are in a private room in the rear with their own TV hookup and
wardrobe; the kitchen has lots of counter and cabinet space; the bathroom is
nice and big and has a nice freestanding lavatory sink; and the front bedroom
is nice and private and also has plenty of storage and wardrobe space.
Everything inside is neat, clean, and doesn’t show any signs of damage or
abuse. No stains or rips. No gouges in the hard surfaces. No signs of water
leaks. No soft spots. No odors. Everything is clean and solid. I went through
the appliances when I took the photos and they worked the way they should
have when I checked them. You’ve got a full complement of creature comforts,
too – big ducted furnace; ducted roof a/c unit; gas/electric fridge; LP
cooktop and oven; microwave oven; water pump and heater – it’s all there for
you. Even the colors look great – the interior is nice and bright and roomy
feeling, and all the cabinetry looks nice too.

Outside
there are a couple streaks from rain, but we’ll wash those off before you
come pick it up. There isn’t any body damage on it; all the fiberglass looks
good; the graphics are in great shape with no fading or curling; the tires
have nice deep tread on them; it has an enclosed belly to help keep your
tanks and pipes and valves warm in the winter; the awning looks good and it
even has a slide-topper awning – all in all, this is a really nice SUPERLIGHT fifth wheel. And if the buyer
is a Maryland resident, we’ll include the Maryland state inspection as part
of the Buy It Now price. It’s so nice, we don’t have any fear at all that it
won’t pass inspection.

If
you’ve been thinking about getting into RV’ing, or just getting a
newer/larger unit…now’s the time! We have some great prices on our items
right now, because it’s the “off-season”. The longer we have them here, the
more work we’re going to do to them…the closer we’re going to get to “camping
season”…demand is going to go up…we’ll end up with more time and money
invested in them…and the prices will go UP.
We’ve been at this a long time. It’s a cycle, and it happens every year. So
if you want to save some money (don’t we all?)…take advantage of the prices
NOW, before they creep upwards for the season. Because they will. They always
do.  But – the campers are all
winterized. Buy now, save a bundle of cash, and just…park it. Let it sit. All
you have to do between now and nice weather is shovel around it – and in my
book, if a little bit of shoveling means saving thousands of dollars? I go
for it!

Also,
don’t forget – we’re a full service dealership. If you need hitch work, a
brake controller, or anything having to do with your new camper…we can set
you up. We have a fully stocked parts and accessories store as well as a huge
Service department, so no matter what your camper needs, we can get you taken
care of. So, if you see a camper you like…don’t let it stop you if you don’t
have a hitch. Just tell me what your vehicle is, and I can put together a
price quote for you. If you have any other questions, check out our FAQ’s below.
And if your question isn’t answered there, send me an email and I can get you
the answer you need.

Here are some of our frequently
asked questions:

How do I bid?

What does a bid
mean?

If you are new to eBay or
have general questions about bidding, you should read eBay’s “buying basics”
page:

Buying
Basics

YOUR
BID IS A CONTRACT, and
it means you are prepared to pay that much for the item. Make sure you have the money available before you place the bid, please.

If you bid, be
prepared to win. If you win, congratulations
– you just bought it, and now we expect you to pay for it.

Please – have the money (or financing) ready BEFORE you bid!!

What’s your reserve?

WE DO NOT REVEAL OUR RESERVE PRICES.

It’s an auction, that would take all the fun out
of it. You are free to place a bid, or email me an offer. I will present any reasonable offer to my boss.

Will you take less
than the Buy It Now price?

Chances are very good that IF we have a Buy It Now price on the
auction…that’s the price we need to get for it. You are welcome to send in
an offer (don’t just ask “how much?” – send me an OFFER), but please
don’t get upset if the reply is simply “the price is the price”. We don’t pad
our prices. We want to save you as much money as we can, right off the bat.

Is it cheaper if I pay cash?

Sorry, no it isn’t. Cash, check, or finance – the
item is worth what the item is worth. We’re an established dealership, not a
private seller. Cash is great for a seller who needs to have the money TODAY
so they can pay other bills…but we’ve been around for over 30 years. We can
wait for a check to clear if we need to.

Can my truck tow it?

I don’t know…but I’ll be happy to find out. Send
me the year, make, model, how many doors, 2 or 4 wheel drive, long or short
bed, and what size the engine is – and I can look it up for you. But to give
you the right answer, I need ALL of the information. Otherwise, I’m
just guessing – and that’s not very helpful.

Is hitch work included?

No. Unless it is noted specifically in the auction,
our eBay pricing DOES NOT INCLUDE HITCH WORK.
We are able to do any installations you might need, just send me your
vehicle information and I will be happy to get you a price quote.

Is there a warranty?

No. All of our eBay items, unless otherwise
specifically noted in the listing, are sold AS-IS,
WHERE-IS, with no warranties
expressed or implied.

What does “as-is” mean?

As-is means that even though we are a dealer, sometimes
we sell items without putting shop time (and MONEY) into them – no sealing,
no cleaning, no fixing, no inspecting, and no guarantees. Just like if you
bought it out of my driveway at home. We do it that way to SAVE YOU MONEY. We’re as honest as we can be
about our items. We’re not trying to cheat anyone or “pull a fast one” – we
just want to save you some cash. Look at the photos; read the ad; please, ask
any questions you might have. I will get you an honest answer, as soon as I
can.

Are there any
additional fees?

eBay pricing does NOT include taxes, tags, inspection, or
title fees. While
we do NOT charge any “dealer processing” fees or other hidden fees, it is the
BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY to pay any applicable taxes, tag, title or
inspection fees that are required by an item in addition to the winning bid,
unless otherwise noted in the auction. If you’re in Maryland, I collect your
taxes and tag fees when you pick up your purchase. If you’re out of state,
you pay taxes & tags when you get back to your home state.

Please
– it is YOUR responsibility to know your state’s rules and fees before bidding.

Can I get a temp tag?

If you are NOT a Maryland resident, I can issue
you a temp tag for $20. It is good for 60 days.

Do you finance?

Yes.

Credit Application

It is a SECURE online form. If you prefer
to do the application over the phone, you may call the number below and ask
for either Bill or Steve in the Finance Department. Please, don’t email me
your credit score and expect an accurate answer – all we can do with that is
guess.

IF YOU PLAN TO
FINANCE, YOU MUST HAVE
APPROVED CREDIT BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR BID.

Do you take trades?

Yes we do…but I need as much information about
your trade as you can give me. Telling me you have a “2006 Jayco 34 foot
camper” does nothing for me (or for your trade value). I need specifics.
Details. Good AND bad. If you give me $5 worth of information…I have no
choice but to offer you $5 for your trade. SELL it to me, make me want it! You’ll get more money that
way.

Where’s the item?

All of our items are located at 11109 Angleberger
Rd, Thurmont MD 21788. You are welcome to come see them in person during
normal business hours (M-F, 9-6).

Here
we are on Mapquest

Do you ship?

NO, we do not ship.

We are a dealer, not a shipper. Here is a link to U-ship; it is in every listing and you can
use it to get a shipping estimate. Many of my customers have had great luck
with that system. Beckley’s Camping
Center has no connection whatsoever to any shipping companies.

I was watching that
item, where did it go?

If an item disappeared “early”, chances are
someone bought it.

ALL
of our items are for sale locally, and we reserve the right to end any
auction early. If you
like an item…BID ON IT. The best way to make sure it doesn’t get away is to
place a bid, make an offer, or BUY IT.

OK, I won. Now what?

A $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours. Paypal or credit card
(Visa/Mastercard) over the phone are acceptable deposit methods.

Full
payment is due in 7 days.

You will receive an email after you win the auction that will
include more details.

How can I pay the
balance?

Acceptable payment methods are cash; bank to bank
wire transfer; or certified check. If you are paying with a check, we will
hold the title for 15 business days. We have gotten counterfeit cashiers
checks in the past, so now THIS IS OUR POLICY. If you want to carry the title
out with you, you need to pay with cash or a wire transfer.

If you live outside the USA, WIRE TRANSFER is the only
acceptable form of payment.

When can I pick up my purchase?

APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED
FOR ITEM PICKUPS.

We are a busy dealership and cannot accommodate
“surprise” visitors, at least not if you want us to treat you right. If you
don’t mind delays, confused people, getting shuffled around aimlessly, and
waiting (and waiting…and waiting…) until your purchase can be dug out from
behind other units that DID have scheduled appointments…by all means,
surprise us. But we’d much prefer you schedule an appointment. Also please
make a note of the fact that I DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS. You will need to arrange
to pick your camper up during the week.

OUR EBAY DEPARTMENT IS NOT
OPEN ON WEEKENDS.

eBay
items may be picked up Monday through Friday,
from 9am until 5pm (Eastern time).

How long does hitch
work take?

Typical hitch work can take anywhere from two to six hours, depending on what is being
installed.

Our shop is available to install hitch work Monday – Friday,
from 9am to 5pm (with a lunch break from 12-1).

Please plan accordingly. And again – APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED.

How do I contact you if I have questions?

Email is best; click “Ask a question” above, and the message
will come right to my desk, and to my Blackberry. If I have an answer for you
after hours, you’ll get a reply. If I need to get to the office to get the
correct answer, you will receive a reply the next business day.

You can call 1-800-296-6959 during business hours if
you like, but I am rarely at my desk. If I am not available when you call, LEAVE
A DETAILED VOICEMAIL MESSAGE and I will call you back as soon as I can.
After hours, send an email – after hours calls go to a central mailbox and
don’t always get routed to me.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO ASK FOR ME (JOE) BY NAME. I’m the one who researched the item for eBay; I’m the
one who wrote the ad; I’m the one who took the photos; I’m the one who is
best equipped to answer any questions you might have about the item.
