We normally live in New Zealand now, but my uncle has my van at his house 20 minutes outside of Jefferson City, MO near Centertown. We would asking $9k for it but we are willing to make appropriate reductions based on the things I couldnt get fixed before we left and depending on how you pick it up. We didn’t actually want to sell it but now we are considering it because we didn’t make as much money on our trip as we planned.

There is a new engine that was put into the van in 2001, so the mileage is incredibly low at 26,600 or so. This motor cost $5k, at the same time the exhaust manifold, assperator tube, catalytic converter and muffler were replaced. I have itemized receipts for all the work done to it. The original motor including the mileage put on since is only at 91,000. This is a very well looked after van. We have the original manual and all the paperwork from the new engine with the purchace.

Just before we left we spent $600 getting the wheels balanced, aligned, the front and rear brakes done for the new owner.

This is a completely self contained 19 foot 3 inch Class B motorhome. It is complete with roof mounted air conditioner, ducted forced air furnace, refrigerator (gas operation only), 2 burner cook top, microwave oven and Onan generator with only 175 hours run on it so far. The vehicle contains all required holding tanks for sewage, 25 gallons. There is a bed that sleeps 2 in the rear of the van and a table with bench seats that convert into a bed behind the driver’s seat. The bench seats at the table are equipped with seat belts for caring additional passengers. There is a bathroom with commode, sink and shower. There is a closet and many storage cabinets inside the motor home and an outside storage area in the rear. The tires are in great condition. The vehicle is also in excellent condition.

I also left dishes, utensils and a pot and pan in there.

There are only a few very minor issues that the van has including;

-The emergency brake does not work, and when I got the brakes done this week he said that it is probably the cord, which is around $40 plus labour. We are on the road and dont have time to wait for the part. Plus we have been on really steep hills and never needed it so far.

-The gas gauge works sometimes and other times doesn’t. The person who we bought it off of said that it happened sometimes, and it must be an electrical issue. Again something we wont be getting fixed before we sell it because we just put $600 into it this week. We just always made sure to fill up after 300 miles because the van gets 10-12 miles per gallon.

- It needs a new battery isolator switch which charges the house battery from the car battery while driving and shuts off when you park so it doesn’t drain the car battery. This costs about $70 and my uncle would help us with this if you bought it.

-Right before we left the hot water heater switch stopped going ‘red’ to indicate the water was heated. This would need to go to the RV service place to get fixed, and I am not sure what the problem is at all.

Up for your consideration is an Extremely Low Mile Sprinter Van with a well appointed Class B Camper Van Conversion. Class B Vans are the hottest selling RV category and retain resale value better than all other RVs out on the market today. Out of the Class B market, the Sprinter based units are the number one sought out units. The Sprinters offer unmatched living area coupled with the highest fuel economy. For those of you just beginning to shop, Sprinters have 6ft of head room inside, over 20ft of living space and consistently yield over 20mpg! It takes RVing to a new level and leaves the headaches of conventional RVing at home.

This unit is a 1Owner and has a unique history. This unit was purchased brand new by a wealthy business owner in the Little Rock, AR region to allow his handicap son to travel without the stress of modern travel to a wheel chair bound boy. It was first outfitted with a wheel chair lift and a light RV conversion. Unfortunately his son continued to have complications and was never really able to travel. A few months ago the lift was removed and the conversion turned full circle to that of a Class B RV. Most of the components have never been used. While this unit is set up to be used as an RV today, there are areas left to suit its new owners needs. This a complete electrical unit and does not utilize propane at all. Instead at the heart of the RV is a massive 3,000 watt Trip Lite power inverter. This provides more than enough power to run the TV, lights and Roof Top AC unit. There is a hotwater heater on board, but I would recommed the AC unit be turned off when using the hotwater heater due to combined power use over 3,000 watts. We will install a second conversion battery for extended inverter use and recommend running the Sprinter engine to maintain 12volts. Compared to the noise of a Onan propane generator that is installed on most Class B Sprinters, this would be my preferred power option. First off the propane is hard to find unless it is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm(NO Holidays, NO weekends) and the typically installed onan 2800 propane generators are LOUD! This unit did have a backup generator temporarily mounted an a hitch rack, hence the Generac generator controller next to the Inverter Controller, but since has been removed. Another unit or a portable generator could easily be reinstalled on a platform slid into the receiver hitch. And for those of you needing to haul something the hitch is rated at 5,000lbs. I can tell you I have pulled many ski boats home from California with the Diesel Sprinters and they perform flawlessly! I have personally driven this unit over 700 miles and was able to maintain 19mpg running right at the speed limiter of 83mph.

Exceptionally clean is the ONLY way to describe this unit. While I do not believe this unit was stored indoors its entire life(it took some buffing and polishing to make it look new again) the paint is in near excellent condition and is ALL Original with the exception of the hood. The hood was repainted due to some heavy scratches and some blemished from tree sap. We have inspected the Sprinter from front to back and can tell you it has never been wrecked or damaged in any way. The interior smells new and has seen very little use, never being smoked in and pet free. All seals are weather tight and there is NO hidden damage and NO previous water damage.

A few other noted options on this Sprinter are the many upgrades. It is equipped a reverse camera that has a monitor that flips down next to the sun visor. The stereo is an upgraded flip-out screen tha can be further upgraded as a Navigation and Satellite Radio. It does have power windows and door locks with a handy keyfob for keyless entry. It has been rebadged wearing its native Mercedes grill and upgraded Mercedes Wheels. The tires have been recently replaced as the factory Michelins are terrible about weather cracking, yes even indoors the Michelin tires crack. Rest assured with new tires, fresh oil change, and new fuel filter this unit is ready to roll for its next road trip.

For those of you unfamialr with Sprinters, Sprinters are marketed in the US under the Dodge and Freightliner brands, but are actually a product of Mercedes Benz and originate in Germany. Most recently Mercedes Dealers have been revamping their sales teams and service departments to sell and service Sprinters. Sprinters are most common in Europe and are utilized in everything from Ambulances to construction vehicles. Of course here in the US you seen them used by companies like FedEx and UPS because of their reliability. I have personally seen these chassis with a half million miles and still going. But don’t be afraid thinking you are buying a vehicle that is tough to get service. Dodge and Freightliner dealers all over North America can easily service this van in addition to many Mercedes Dealers.

Under the hood of this Sprinter is the popular and proven 2.7L Mercedes Turbo Diesel. As stated above, these engines will go hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of miles, and they do while sipping minimum amounts of diesel. They are capable of getting 22mpg, but I would safely say 18-20 mpg under normal driving conditions. I have just personally driven these Sprinters while pulling a car and trailer and averaged over 15mpg. I had no problem coming over a very steep mountain pass and easily maintained 80mpg on the freeways. For those of you who do not know, the later 3.0 Diesel will not come close to the service and fuel economy of this older emission diesel.

We are offering a 2000 Great West Conversion Van with only 31,600 original miles on a Dodge 5.9L 360 engine. This nice little van should make a great camper for someone, it runs and drives excellent. The dash A/C still blows cold!! Im not sure exactly how old the tires are, but they look new! It has an Onan Generator that does run and will operate the roof A/C just fine. The hot water heater lights properly, as well as the fridge. I took the pictures the day we got bought it, we didnt even need to detail it for the pics in this ad!!

This is a no reserve auction to the highest bidder, so this coach is being sold as is. Keep in mind we have excellent feedback!! I noticed on the drivers side one of the compartment doors might need some minor cosmetic repairs and I noticed one of the cabinet doors inside is delamination. This neat and clean motorhome runs very well and drives great. It shifts correctly and tracks straight. The brakes are fine and it has a good set of radial tires. It is a original one owner vehicle. It was owned by a couple in their 60’s who took excellent care of it. It has all the extras you’ll need including a kitchen, heat and hot water. It’s ready to go.

The interior is in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear. There are no odors of any kind and it appears to have been smoke free.

The body has some of the normal dings one would expect for a car of its age. Any imperfections are shown in the photos. (See Pictures)

The automotive A/C is ICE COLD and the roof A/C works well too.

Over all, this car is a very good example of a 1994Dodge Ram 350 Motorhome that anyone would be proud to own. This really is an extremely nice RV, with its abundant options and comfort features, it would make the perfect weekend getaway vehicle. Rear air cools well but has a small leak, rear brake light cracked. This is a great vehicle, extremely well-maintained, with virtually all manuals and service records! Sold As-Is.
